What is Community Solar? Well, have you seen a solar farm? It’s a large field of solar panels that is directly connected into the utility grid - either through CMP or Versant. That power is used to replace power generated by fossil fuels which emit dangerous greenhouse gases. But here’s the best part: the state has allowed us to take that power and convert it into a dollar credit that we can apply to any electric bill in the state. When we assign a business or homeowner to one of our solar farms, not only do they make a positive impact to the environment, they receive a guaranteed savings!

Community solar is the most flexible product available in the solar market. Because it doesn’t require a business or homeowner to build anything on their roof or invest a single dollar. That means every business or commercial property is a prospect.  With community solar virtually everyone can benefit from solar power.

Working with the outbound sales team, your roles and responsibilities would be to make direct contact with new prospective clients, either by providing referrals for potential clients or following through with the process from start to close.

We’re looking to add experienced and driven players to our expanding team. We look forward to speaking to you about the opportunity. If you love working with small business owners, commercial, and industrial clients, and you have strong networking skills, you will love this opportunity. This is a 1099 commission-based position.

Compensation: This position is a 1099 commission-based position, so compensation varies with territories and sales results. As an example, average performers should expect to make $65,000 per year while top performers can exceed $125,000 annually.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 2 years in sales – preferably business to business / CNI / corporate large accounts
  2. A positive attitude with a solution-oriented mentality
  3. Strong work ethic
  4. Team player
  5. Ability to pass a drug screening
  6. Ability to pass a background check
  7. Reliable transportation
  8. Eligible work in the United States
