Enrollment Primer


This information will walk you through the enrollment process step-by-step and give you an idea of what each screen you will encounter looks like and what information you'll need to provide. Briefly reviewing this information will help ensure your enrollment experience is a good one.

 What is the address of the utility account you are enrolling? (This can be found on your utility bill – most likely referred to as the service address)

GREAT, WE NEED A COUPLE OF THINGS TO VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT

Enter your Central Maine Power account number

Upload a copy of your most recent utility bill (drag and drop – jpg, gif, png, or pdf files under 20MB)

+ Add another Utility Account (can add another account if you have more than one meter to subscribe)

CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS

An email is sent to the email address you entered in SCREEN 1 with [Your Name – Please Conform Your Email] in the subject line

 Email will read as follows:

Hi [name],

Please take a moment and validate your email to continue with your enrollment.



 
Once you confirm your email you will be asked to create a password for your account and sign your community solar agreement.

SCREEN 7 - EMAIL

This screen will ask you to create a password. At the top of the page are the password requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 characters
  • At least one lower case letter
  • At least one upper case letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character
  • No whitespace


 You will also be asked to confirm the following:

On the next page you’ll be asked to read and sign the subscription agreement, which defines the benefits of your community solar subscription:

Your Ampion subscription itself is free. You’ll only pay for the bill credits produced by the sun as it shines down on your portion of the solar farm

Bill credits will automatically be applied to your utility company bill at a 15% discount. This means you’re saving money on your energy!

No cancellation fees*

You’ll be making a real-world difference in the fight to combat climate change.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t one. This program was designed to encourage the development and distribution of clean energy products such as wind and solar. Your savings are supported by the state.


 

At the bottom of the screen is the footnote for the cancellation terms:

Please note that your cancellation requires action from your utility company. Upon indication of your desire to cancel, Ampion will promptly deliver a cancelation notice to the utility on your behalf. You will continue to receive bill credits until they have fully processed the cancelation request.

When you are ready Hit continue

SCREEN 10

This screen loads your subscription agreement document and guides you through the standard DocuSign process including where you need to sign.

           Select Start to begin

It requests that your draw your signature in the designated box

If you are satisfied with what you have reviewed Hit adopt and sign

SCREEN 11

This screen takes you to the Authorization Agreement for Recurring Online Payment

As part of the subscription agreement, you are agreeing to set up auto-pay for your solar bill credits. You can choose either ACH or a credit card.

Shaded in Blue at the top of the screen is the following text:

We require all community solar subscriptions enroll in autopay. Please select a payment method from the dropdown and complete the form. THIS ACCOUNT WILL BE CHARGED EVERY MONTH FOR YOUR COMMUNITY SOLAR SUBSCRIPTION.

We transmit all data securely and do not store any of your payment account details
